10 Best Workouts to Get Back into Shape

Want to know some great workouts to get that sexy beach body right in the comfort of your own home? Here is our list of the top ten workouts that require no weights or fancy machines, but will still whip that body into shape!

1.)  Running

Not only does running deliver the best results for your body, but it is also inexpensive, easy to learn, and super accessible (all you need are gym shoes). It is high in cardiovascular fitness and works out literally your entire body. 

2.) Burpes

 

Burpees are an intense full body cardio workout, which means that it will help you burn A LOT of calories. It consists of muscular strength and endurance working out your chest, legs, core muscles, butt muscles, back, shoulders, and upper triceps! And when done in rapid succession, it will build your cardiovascular fitness as well.

3.)  Lunges

If you want nice and tight glutes and legs, try lunges! They will work out most of the muscles in your legs including your quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves.

4.)  Squats with kick-back

 

Another amazing glute exercise is squats with a kickback.  In this exercise you will be working out your glute muscles and quads giving you that sexy backside.

5.)  Wall sits

 

This exercise is definitely a quad burner, but it will help you tone those legs by working the quadriceps and hamstrings.

6.)  Push-ups

Don’t let those push-ups from gym class discourage you from doing these: they are actually quite effective.  This workout strengthens your chest muscles, triceps, back muscles and your core while requiring little space and materials to do so.

7.)  V-Pushups

While maintaining a “V” position during this exercise, this variation of a basic push-up will help you tone your upper back muscles and shoulders.

8.)  Planks

Planks are another example of a simple exercise that is very effective. It is a very good ab workout because through the extensions of your arms and legs it creates pressure through your core. The abdominal muscles works hard to help stabilize and support the body and that’s when you will feel the burn in your abs! Also, planks are pretty much the only ab exercise that targets your entire core area.

9.)  Spiderman planks

This exercise is an advance version of the basic planks. It does the job of the basic planks with special focus on the oblique muscle area.

10.)  Side planks with leg lift

In addition to working out the core, this exercise also works out your outer thighs and glutes, making this work out a must-have on your list!
