I went to the gym everyday at 6:30 am and this is how it went

The past few weeks, me and my roommate had decided to finally start getting into a healthier lifestyle. Because of this, the one thing I had to do was the one thing I dreaded the most – going to the gym. However, I was able to go everyday at 6:30 am every morning, and now I’m going to tell you how that went, and different ways to make the gym more fun.

Waking up early in the morning to go to the gym was not the most fun experience ever, but all I had to do was get myself there and, once there, I could decide whether or not to have an easy day or get some serious sweat. The most important thing was that I got there.

To make things fun that early in the morning, I always put on fun music, so that I can’t help but dance on the treadmill. I would also put on a show I was watching so that the time at the gym would go by fast, making me not realize I had been running or walking on the treadmill for an hour.

After the first week went by, I didn’t really notice the struggle to go to the gym anymore. It felt like second nature waking up and going to the gym before classes and playing ridiculously loud music in the gym because nobody is there in the morning except for me and my roommate. I also started to notice that I was in a happier mode throughout the day, and it made me more productive.

Overall, my final take on this is that working out, while strugglesome at first, can become second nature to you and improve your mental and physical health.
