Sophie Broderick

Sophie Broderick is a writer and the HuskyTHON Chair for the Her Campus UCONN Chapter. She enjoys writing about fashion, the arts, and trends.

As a Sophomore at the University of Connecticut Sophie is currently studying English and is a part of the Special Program in Law. Aside from Her Campus Sophie is currently an FYE Mentor where she supports first year students in their adjustment to college. She also is serving as a Content Marketing Captain for HuskyTHON where she assists in making graphics, captions, and creative content ideas come to life for multiple Instagram pages. She also explores her interests through participation in the Law Society, as a way of preparing for her future of LSAT studying and learning essential skills needed to be a successful lawyer.

In her free time Sophie can be seen at any and every coffee shop with either an iced latte or matcha in hand. She also can design and sew her own clothes, and spends her free time sketching new ideas. Yet, her artistic interest does not end with fashion, as Sophie also enjoys playing both the acoustic and electric guitar so she can learn and play along to all of her favorite songs!
