It's that time of year again: Carolina Cup! Bring on the sundresses, bow ties and kegs . . . oh and the horses, too! Every year, WFU students, along with college kids from schools all over the South, travel to Camden, South Carolina to enjoy the horse races at Carolina Cup. But let’s be real – most everyone is really there for the best tailgate of the year.
While most of us are too young to have been at Wake during the epic 2006 season, most of us do remember the excitement and shock of underdog Wake Forest winning the ACC Championship, led by rookie quarterback Riley Skinner.  During that season, fullback Jon Abbate, who now plays for Sacramento Mountain Lions, lost his younger brother Luke in a tragic reckless driving accident.
Visiting the Graylyn Estate has always been on my Wake Forest Bucket List, yet like the Reynolda House, this Winston-Salem staple somehow alluded me until my senior year.  My parents were coming for one last visit before graduation, and decided to do something different than the local Marriott and book a room at the Graylyn Estate.
This Saturday from 12-3pm, Wake Forest hosted the 2nd Annual Wine and Beer Tasting in Benson University Center.  The event was open to all graduating seniors, just one of the many Senior Celebrations events offered this spring.
In recent years, Wake's "Pledge Night" has gotten more than a little out of hand, and in response, the school tried to implicate a different way for all of the new members of Greek organizations to celebrate.
Seeing as half of our Her Campus staff has come down with the flu or some other illness, I thought I would focus this week's photoblog on how NOT to get sick! Coming back to school brings all sorts of new germs, but fear not! There are ways to avoid getting sick!
