With all of the time we had to spend at home this past year, it’s likely very rare that we’ve been able to get time to ourselves, unless you live alone, of course. There has been so much left to the unknown for months now, it can easily feel incredibly overwhelming mentally. Having time by yourself is vital to processing everything going on around you and taking a moment to breathe.
Because COVID-19 has blurred the lines between our personal and professional lives, it can feel like we’re never able to take a break from our responsibilities. Here’s how I’ve been practicing self–care and unlearning the guilt associated with taking time to relax when “work” time and “personal” time feel the same way.
