With the holidays past us and the new year ahead, many of us have a whole slew of goals to attain. For me, staying regimented in my exercise routine and living an active lifestyle in 2016 is an important objective. This is not only because I, like most women, like to look good in my clothes, but also because I like to push my body and grow stronger both physically and mentally.

While I’m not the fitness fanatic that likes to spend $100 on a pair of yoga pants or $60 on a sports bra at Lululemon, I do fancy myself some cute workout apparel for less. Here are some of my top athletic apparel picks for the girl on a budget:

T-shirts and Tank Tops:

Old Navy Go-Dry T-Strap Tank – $7

Under Armour Take A Chance Tank – $33.99

Fabletics Monrovia Cropped Sweatshirt – $20.97-29.95

Leggings:

Old Navy High-Rise Patterned Compression Leggings – $32.94

Sweat Crew Classic Leggings – $44.95

Shorts:

Under Armour HeatGear Armour – $24.99

Champion Women’s Sport Short 4 – $7.99

Sweat Crew Camo Running Shorts – $27.96

Sports Bras:

Old Navy Light Support Seamless Sports Bra – $15

Sweat Crew Fashion Harness Bralette – $32.95

Old Navy Maximum Support Sports Bra – $24-28

Jackets and Sweatshirts:

adidas Dots Allover Print Pullover – $35.00

Sweat Crew Mesh Zip-Up Jacket – $22.47
