I cry your name,

I bang your chest,

my eyes study you

and I fail the rest

arms length apart

disconnected spark.

Maybe in another universe

I could taste the desire blazing from your lips

or in a different dimension

where I could finally breathe in my dreams

where I could be yours, and you could be mine.

Bouncing red lights,

you’re on the spotlight;

everyone has their eyes on you.

In the twilight, maybe you’re mine

under the presence of the moon

who told me to chase you

‘til I lose my mind,

face you ‘til I see a light in your eyes,

to feed me chances, that I could believe

you might’ve reciprocated these feelings for me.

We’re in opposite spectrums,

two sides with one direction,

with no physical attention

I plead and beg for a connection.

You’re dancing on your own

and I sit here all alone.

I’m stuck being invisible to someone like you.
