During this quarentine break, it is important that you are keeping your phyiscal and mental health in mind. It may not be noticable, but there might be full days that pass where nothing is accomplished. Therefore, I have made a routine for myself that has been working for me very well physically and mentally. I understand people may have more homework than others, or Zoom meetings to attend so this schedule can vary. I sleep in until around 10:00 a.m., giving my brain and thoughts a long rest but still managing to have the majority of the day left. Getting a proper amount of sleep also helps your mental health.
Then, school comes first! Some days are pilled high in work, others not so much. When my bottom starts to hurt from the rock hard chair, I take a break and do a workout. This allows me to destress, stretch, and focus on my outside goals for this quarentine. It is super helpful to have music or a work out buddy. I have aquired my mother to do workouts with me. The smallest bit of exercise helps! Set an outside goal for yourself to fit your fitness journey at the end of this lock in, and everyday push hard to get there. When comes dinner time, track what you eat (protein, carbs, fats, calories). This will help you physically and mentally in being healthier for yourself and feeling refreshed. Also, make sure to stay hydrated! Drink about 100oz of water a day!
Focusing on your physical and mental health will give you more opportunities to aquire hobbies, makes the days go by faster, and allows you to feel accomplished and happy with yourself.
