Exercise is essential for maintaining a well-rounded lifestyle, but not everyone is the same when it comes to exercise. Luckily Boston’s many gym and workout class options makes it easier to find what fits you. Here are some of the most popular gyms and workout classes, with prices to aid in your choice!

Barry’s Bootcamp

In this high-intensity interval training workout, you can choose between a mix of running and strength training or just focus on getting stronger with weights. The classes also vary depending on the day of the week, with each day focusing on a different muscle group. They also have an online version if you’d like to workout from home!

Cost: $33 for one class, or three for $55 for new members

SoulCycle

This revolutionary indoor cycling class is perfect for cyclers of all skill levels. One perk of these classes is the sense of community, with some of the trainers working extra hard to include and uplift the whole class. Even better, you can decide which class to go to based on the playlist!

Cost: $20 for first class

Rev’d Indoor Cycling

Similar to SoulCycle, Rev’d is an indoor cycling class. However, the environment here is a little more intense. There are strobe lights, loud music, and screens in some studios to enhance the experience. They also provide group training experiences that go beyond indoor cycling for those who are interested in more strength-based workouts.

Cost: $10 for one class, or $30 for a week of unlimited rides for new members

Boston Body Pilates

Boston Body Pilates offers personal training and group classes, but no matter which format you pick, the focus is on making you the strongest you can be! This pilates-based class can be tailored to different experience levels and only takes about 50 minutes to complete. Think of it like “softer” weightlifting with similar results.

Cost: $50 for one class

MYSTRYDE

MYSTRYDE uses group treadmill workouts to create a fun, fast-paced environment. Some of their classes also incorporate strength exercises. Regardless of the exercise you choose, their emphasis is on trying new things in a supportive environment. You don’t have to be a runner for this one!

Cost: $31 for one class, or three for $49 for new members

These options are great places to start if you’re looking for a new workout experience. All that matters is that you find one you enjoy and go for it!
