Koren Kano

Washington '25

Koren is the Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus at the University of Washington. She has been a part of this chapter and community for three years as both a writer and editor. Growing up in Honolulu, Hawaii, Koren spent most of her time outdoors, either at the beach or on a hike. Seattle proved to be a challenge for her with its constant cold and bustling city life. College transitions, new experiences, and friendship summarizes her section. Koren is pursuing a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Law, Societies & Justice, so Her Campus gives her a creative space to put her college experiences into words. When she is not in class, you can find her going on picnics with her friends, watching reality TV with her roommates, practicing yoga, or going on long walks around campus.
