Start Scheduling Some “Me Time” With These Self-Care Planners

Updated Published

In the midst of midterms season, we are all dreading the craziness of the semester with exams and assignments. Between school and our social lives, finding the time to prioritize our mental health feels nearly impossible. However, creating a plan on how to manage your mental health can help you stay structured within all aspects of your life. If this is something that you plan on achieving, consider getting a self-care planner.

Unlike any other planner, a self-care planner is mainly used to help folks practice, keep track of, and manage the many methods related to their self-care rituals. For example, these methods can range from tracking sleep to creating a morning and evening routine. A self-care planner can also be helpful for those who want to keep themselves in check during stressful times and to build healthier habits — because, when the semester gets busy, there’s nothing wrong with penciling in some time to rest, relax, and reset. If you’re looking for a way to keep your self-care habits in check, here are four great self-care planners that I think could be excellent starters for those who want to start their wellness journey. So, grab a pen, light a candle, and get ready to plan for your best self.

Joy: A Wellness Journal ($38)

This wellness journal is the perfect start to managing your well-being. Inside the journal, the sections each focus on different things, like wellness mapping and daily intentions.

The Self-Care Planner by Simple Self ($40)

Recommended by several news outlets such as Forbes and Glamour, this self-care planner serves as a motivator to bring you positivity while scheduling your week, as well as building a better relationship within yourself. This planner includes many things to help you get started on managing your mental well-being, such as self-assessments and self-care challenges. What’s even more interesting about this planner is that it includes a “year at a glance” page, where you can describe how you were mentally throughout the duration of the year.

Erin Condren Wellness Planner ($11)

The In Bloom A5 Wellness Planner is another great wellness journal that has the same features as the others. In this journal, there are sections that range from daily planning to reflection pages. You can create a weekly habit of tracking your meals, daily exercise, and emotional health.

Clever Fox: Self-Care Journal ($25)

This self-care journal has many features that are reasonable for tracking your mental well-being. From implementing daily goals to wellness planning, this journal will be wonderful for those who are ready to take the step on managing their mental health.

Having a self-care planner can be one of the most needed things in your life, IMHO. Knowing your wellness goals and keeping yourself in check can really help in the long run when it comes to managing your mental health.
