How to Kick the Habit of Procrastination

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWB chapter.

Get a planner! Writing in a planner or daily reminder journal can really help you remember all the things you need to do to help you stay on top of things.

Visualize your daily goals! Take a moment in the beginning of your day to visualize what you want to get done. Once you have a daily set goal, stick to your plan of getting it done, which means no extra activities until you’re finished.

Reward yourself for getting your work done. While achieving your goals at the end of the day is great, it’s more important to reward yourself for not procrastinating. This reward can also motivate you to get things done faster in a larger quantity.
