Do you always wish you were a girl that could run for their source of exercise?  Do you want that hot body that comes with it?  Now is your chance!  Running is one of the best forms of exercise that gives you the body, lifestyle, and energy you need to live a healthy life.  And if you are not the girl that thinks running is for you, below are the top 5 reasons why it is the best.

1.     Physical and Mental Health

Exercise is the ultimate way to maintaining a healthy body.  Yet running has proven to add years to your life.  Even just a short jog every morning could help you live a longer life.  While living a longer life, you will be happier and always positive for the “runner’s high” is real.  While running, your brain produces endorphins that provide positive moods and perspectives.

2.     Stress Relief

Life is filled with piles and piles of stress.  What better way to relax and get rid of some of that stress than go for a run!  Simply going on a regular run can let you ponder over life and help lead to a low stress life.

3.     Convenience

You can honestly run anywhere!  You can run inside at your local gym, outside around your house, along a park, or even to school.  On vacation? Traveling? Busy with school? You can still go for a run during any occasion.

4.     Social Ties

Exercising is always the best when you have someone or a group of friends to exercise with.  You encourage each other, and push one another to their limits.  Talking to your running buddy during runs helps get your mind off of the exercise and helps focus on having a good time.

5.     Work Toward a Goal

Everyone is always looking for goals in life and what they want to do.  People are trying to find what motivates them to get through the day.  With running, you can set goals and try to reach them.  You can set a goal of finishing a 5K, a marathon, or even just getting out of bed and going on a 15 minute run every morning.  It doesn’t matter!  Running allows you to push your limits and then you’ll be able to say that you “crushed it”.

So don’t be shy and start running today!
