Treat Yo’ Self: Your Perfect Pamper Night

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Montclair chapter.

It’s finals season and you know what that means: scrambling to finish the last piles of assignments for the semester, studying in the library for what feels like days and spending those very few free moments daydreaming about summer break. I promise you, as much as you probably might want to abandon all work and binge watch a show on Netflix, all the effort you put in will be worth it in the end.

As important as it may be to get as many study hours in as possible, it’s more important to make sure you’re not pushing yourself past your limit. Take a breather every now and then because you deserve it. And when push comes to shove, there is absolutely nothing wrong with treating yourself to a night in. Don’t know where to start?

HCM’s got your back.

Wash all your worries away with a bubble bath or hot shower
Dim the lights and play your favorite playlist

Helpful hint: Spotify has some amazin’ pre-made playlists to wind down to.

Do your mind a favor and unplug for the night
Read a book, watch a movie, or be crafty
Meditate or do some bedtime yoga to unwind

Don’t know where to start? Here’s a helpful guide to get started!

Get a good night’s sleep
Most important rule: do whatever makes you happy
