With two months left of 2021, there’s no better time than to start reflecting on the past year, making goals for the next, and to start becoming your best self now! I’ve compiled a list of journaling prompts, goal-setting questions, overall wellness tips that will help you achieve your own version of being “that girl”.

Journaling Prompts

  1. In this month I want to feel …
  1. What do you want to make more time for this month?
  1. Reflect on the past month, what are 10 things you’re grateful for?
  1. What area in your life needs improvement? What steps can you start taking now?

Goal Setting Questions

  1. What type of lifestyle do you want?
  1. What are 3 things you want to achieve by the end of this year?
  1. What can you do this month to put you closer to those goals?

Nurturing your mind, body, and soul

  1. Read a book
  1. Go on a morning walk
  1. Journal when your mind feels clouded
  1. Grab a coffee with a friend
  1. Try a Group X class at the Fitness Center (here is the link to Loyola’s! https://www.loyola.edu/department/recreation-wellness/fitness/group-exercise)

Becoming ‘that girl’ is not just the aesthetic Pinterest pictures or Tik Tok’s of having your life together.

To have a successful daily routine you need your habits to work within a productive system. This takes time and discipline; it won’t happen overnight. Don’t be hard on yourself if you miss a day working out because you had a paper due or if you slept in instead of waking up to go work out. The process of becoming the best version of yourself takes a lifetime. Live in the present, do things that make you feel good, and reach those goals you’ve always wanted to achieve. You got this!
