Along with the recent fitness craze taking over social media, there has come a fitness clothing trend. Whether it be for athleisure, comfortable clothing that can be worn everyday and for exercising, or working out at the gym, certain brands like Lululemon, Nike, and Gymshark are seen all over Instagram. But as broke college students, we can’t always afford a pair of $100 leggings. Here are some places you can find affordable, good quality gym clothing.
1. Forever 21
Forever 21 is usually known for their fast fashion clothing collections, meaning that they always have the current fashion trends, usually at the expense of quality. However, their athletic clothing line is surprisingly high quality. Many of the styles of leggings are dupes for higher end Lululemon leggings, but for only a fraction of the price. Some people might not even know this, but Target has an athletic clothing line. They have a wide range of sizes, including plus sizes and different lengths. 3. Old Navy
I for one haven’t shopped at Old Navy in years, but they have upped their game, especially in the activewear department. Amazon is probably one of the last places I would think of ordering gym clothes from, but there are quite a few gems on there. 5. TJ Maxx & Marshall’s
The last time I was at TJ Maxx, I was surprised to see that they had so many big brands of athletic wear, including Nike, Adidas, and Under Armor. When you’re on a budget, TJ Maxx and Marshall’s are great places to find designer brands for great deals. You can mix and match to find the perfect gym outfit with the wide amount of options there.
