This time of year, the gym is a jungle. Those New Year’s resolutions of getting in shape have not worn off yet, and it is almost impossible to get a machine at the gym. On top of working out, it seems as if everyone is on some new diet trend.

Want to break your old fitness routines? Here is a list of fitness fads of 2017 that you wont stop hearing about:  

Live-stream fitness classes

The days of actually going to a workout class are over thanks to technology of course. You can bring a high-energy workout class with hundreds of others right into your living room. You can sign up for a live-steam fitness class on dailyburn.com. You can also live stream workout classes on Facebook Live.

Fitness Trackers

The trend of fitness trackers or wearable fitness technology is only growing. With more and more brands creating new trackers, everyone will soon be obsessed with how many steps they take in a day. Fitness trackers can also read you heart rate, GPS routing, give you reminders, and so much more. Hop on the fitness tracker bandwagon so you can compete with your friends outside of the gym.

PureBarre Group Training

PureBarre is a group training exercise that focuses on a using a ballet barre to preform small repetition movements. Barre workouts will continue to thrive in 2017 because many people like group training workouts rather than an on-your-own gym session. Taking the time to prepare a whole week’s worth of food is something to brag about, right?
