Here are the necessary things that I keep in my gym bag

Body Wash

The gym that I go to has showers and because I am a college student, I usually go to the gym before class or after and I don’t want to walk around smelly and sweaty. I bring a little bottle of body wash with me to the gym for that reason.

Water Bottle

This is certainly a necessity. Working out can make your body very dry because you’re sweating a lot, so you need to get hydrated and having that water bottle with you will be a reminder to stop every now and then and take a sip.

Combination Lock

My gym has lockers and because I’m always coming from class or work, I have a lot of my belongings with me. I don’t want to get any of them stolen so I always have my lock with me.

Protein Bar

I always seem to get hungry after I work out and I think the best thing for me to do is eat a protein bar. It’s filling and it’ll help me with my gains.

Deodorant

This is so very important. I always make sure to carry an extra stick of deodorant for after I shower.

Sneakers

I have a different set of sneakers that I wear to the gym because they’re the most comfortable and they support my feet while im running or walking.

Tank Top

It gets really hot in the gym. Even when it’s cold outside and I really don’t like to sweat, but who does really? The gym tanks I wear offer support and gives me breathing room. They’re comfortable and that’s why I like to work out in them.

Socks

I always carry an extra pair of socks with me just incase I’m not wearing socks during the day or if my feet are sweating while I’m at the gym.

Headphones

I wear the headphones to block out the noise of all the other people working out, the machines and for me to be in my own world.

Sports Bra

Let’s face it ladies, a regular bra is not supporting our girls when we are doing intense workouts. I always make sure to pack a sports bra for that reason.

Weight Lifting Gloves

I like to lift, but my hands get sweaty and it’s very painful when free weights or any other type of weight falls on you.

Compression Pants

I like compression pants because they contain my jiggly parts. When I’m running I like to feel stiff and compression pants does the job.

Towel

I have a towel for wiping sweat during the workout and also to dry myself after I shower.

Flip Flops

It’s necessary to have these flip flops in the shower because going barefoot would increase my chances of getting Athlete’s foot.
