Is Alix Earle Getting A Reality Show? The Internet Thinks So

There needs to be an investigation of the pipeline from It Girls to reality TV stars. First, the Kardashians set the blueprint when their family’s reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians took off in 2007. Then, 2020’s TikTok It Girl Charli D’amelio had a quick rise to fame, leading to the The D’Amelio Show. Now, fans are convinced GRWM queen Alix Earle is following in similar footsteps with a reality show of her own.

When Earle’s socials took off in 2022, it didn’t take long for fans to deem her presence the “Alix Earle” effect. With every GRWM video, a shelf of sold-out products followed. She changed the GRWM game — and influencing, for that matter. Recently, her content has become more lifestyle-based as she documents her post-grad life, takes trips back to her hometown in New Jersey, and introduces her blended family to her dedicated fans. This change in content — and a sneaky Easter egg in a recent TikTok video — has led some fans to speculate a reality TV show is coming for the Earle family.

In a recent TikTok video, fans think they spotted a piece of key reality TV show equipment.

On Aug. 29, Alix posted a TikTok with her sister, Ashtin Earle, who has gained over 260,000 followers of her own. In the video, Earle is hugging Ashtin as she sends her off to study abroad in Florence, Italy. Fans noticed a wire hanging out of Earle’s pocket and speculated it was a mic pack for a reality show. Her Campus reached out to Earle’s team for comment but didn’t hear back by the time of publication.

When Earle first gained traction, she was praised for her authenticity about her college life at the University of Miami. After graduating, she made Miami her home and moved into an apartment. Despite the new change, she has been spending a lot of time back at home in New Jersey and churning out family content, which fans think is due to her filming a family reality show.

Her blended family includes three sisters, a little brother, a step-mom, her mom, and her dad. On her TikTok, Earle has been open about her family dynamic, and showcases how close all of them are. She even poked fun at a potential reality show starring her family back in July 2023, when she posted a TikTok with the caption: “This is the intro to our reality show.”Just as quickly as they fell in love with Earle, fans fell in love with her family. It’s giving Kardashian energy.

On top of her recent change in content, Earle has been making major business moves that fans seem to think are a part of the reality TV show plot. In August 2023, podcast mogul and Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper created her own production company, Unwell Network, and Earle was among the first two names to be signed. Whether it was just a smart business decision or laying the foundation for a reality show, fans think the timing is too perfect

Fans are theorizing what the potential reality show could center around, and the name.

On top of being Gen Z’s It Girl, fans have been begging the Earle family for a reality show that’s just as honest, fun, and chaotic as the dynamic they display online. The relationship between Alix, her mom and step-mom, and her sisters especially, make for a binge-worthy reality TV show reminiscent of The Kardashians

TikToker @girlbosstown, an influencer who uses her PR skills to make predictions about celebs, was quick to theorize the potential of an Earle family reality show. In a TikTok video posted on Aug. 29, she noticed the use of the hashtag #Earlegirls under the Earle family’s posts, speculating it’s the potential name and focus for the show. She went on to explain how the Earle girls are following the exact same formula as the Kardashian sisters in 2007 when their reality show took off. From a wealthy background to two little sisters like Kendall and Kylie, the similarities between the two families are uncanny, adding fuel to the fire of reality show rumors.

In 2007, there was a WGA strike that affected the production of scripted television, propelling the success and creation of reality TV. That same year, Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered and had instant success. The state of the entertainment industry is in similar waters today with both a WGA strike and a SAG-AFTRA strike currently underway. Based on previous strikes, there will be a heavier presence of reality TV, making the creation of an Earle family reality TV show believable.

Alix has yet to confirm the creation of an Earle family TV show, but there is no denying that the family is on track to becoming celebrities of their own.
