Hello! My name is Valeria and I am from Miami, Florida. I am a junior at Florida State University pursuing a major in communication/media studies with a business minor. I am passionate about all things related to the media industry. With hands-on experience in project management, creative content development, and client relations, I combine my academic knowledge with practical expertise to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Over the summer, I had an internship at Alma, a multi-cultural ad agency in Coconut Grove, Florida. As project management intern, my favorite part was working on the Girl Scouts campaign that I created with my intern group as well as working on the Miller Lite account and collaborating with Marcello Hernandez for an ad sponsorship.
My future goal is to move to California and work for streaming platforms like HBO Max, Hulu, or film studios such as Warner Brothers and work as communications coordinator or do media relations.
During my free time I love to go the beach, try different matcha shops, and thrift cool clothing pieces. I love walking around Doak with my friends, baking, and doing pilates. My favorite shows are Big Little Lies and the Real Housewives franchise, and my favorite movies are Problemista, ET, or The Fugitive.
