Sophie Broderick is a writer for the Her Campus UCONN Chapter. She enjoys writing about fashion, the arts, and trends.
As a Freshman at the University of Connecticut Sophie is currently studying English and is a part of the Special Program in Law. Aside from Her Campus Sophie is involved as a member of the Case Club where she generates and proposes practical solutions to real-world business issues, and has recently joined Huskython as a Rising Leader. She also explores her interests through participation in both the Law Society, as a way of preparing for her future of LSAT studying and learning essential skills needed to be a successful lawyer, and the Fashion Society where she collaborates with like-minded people to embrace an artistic culture on campus.
In her free time Sophie can be seen at any and every coffee shop with either an iced latte, matcha, or chai in hand. She also can design and sew her own clothes, and spends her free time sketching new ideas. Yet, her artistic interest does not end with fashion, as Sophie also enjoys playing both the acoustic and electric guitar so she can learn and play along to all of her favorite songs!
