Hi! My name is Nadiya-Bhaktika Weld. I'm a senior at Temple University, majoring in English with a certificate in acting. I’m from Philly. I love art and all its various forms, but writing and acting are my art of choice. However, I do enjoy making pottery and painting from time to time.
I’m a staff writer for the campus news and life section at HCTU. I’m excited to write about events and experiences at Temple and in Philly. I also love pop culture, and look forward to writing some articles for the art and entertainment section as well.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, traveling, making Pinterest boards, spending time in nature, specifically, lying in the grass, sitting in trees, and going on nature walks. My favorite genres are romance and dystopian. My favorite book series is the “ Off Campus” series by Elle Kennedy. I also love thrifting, jewelry making, and binge-watching shows and movies.
