Happy Friday guys! April is already over and I am so excited for summer. Let’s jump into my week in fitness!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a progress pic this week! (I was also kinda bloated so that’s okay)

My Workouts by Day:

DAY 1: 30 min healthy body yoga via YouTube

DAY 2: 15 min abs, 10 min leg circuits, 10 min booty circuits, 10 min stretch ALL from Pinterest

DAY 3: 10 min run, 10 min stretch, 20 min “runner’s yoga” via YouTube

Workout Protip of the Week:

This week’s protip is how to squeeze in workouts while you’re crazy busy. With the spring semester coming to a close and finals quickly approaching, it can be really hard to find time to exercise. I have found some awesome and quick solutions to help keep you on track for the rest of the semester!

This week was the first time I have ever tried a workout circuit from Pinterest. For those who may not know, I help run the Hofstra HerCampus Pinterest, and I am always pinning workouts to our fitness board. I finally decided to put some of them to the test to see if these simple “10 minute” workouts really do your body some good.

This is one of the circuits that I tried out this week, and let me say my abs were quite sore the day after! This was a quick, easy, and customizable process because you can repeat the sets as many times as you want and tailor it to your schedule. I got a really awesome ab workout from this pin, and I am definitely going to try more out the next time I can’t make it to the gym!

Gym Must-Have of the Week:

Alo Yoga

I am over the top, OBSESSED with Alo Yoga at the moment! They have chic and adorable workout clothes, from leggings to sports bras, and gear. It is a little pricey, but sometimes it’s good to invest in high-quality pieces.

Healthy Treat of the Week:

San Pellegrino

Pellegrino is an awesome alternative to soda or other potentially sugary, bubbly drinks. They happen to be one of my biggest guilty pleasures (because they are a little pricey). Pellegrino has a lot of minerals that are good for your body, so if you are ever craving something bubbly and crisp, reach for these!

That’s it for this week, everyone! Thanks for reading, and don’t forget to love yourself.
