Going to Half Acre can be intimidating, especially if you (like me) have no idea what you’re doing. Thank goodness for Half Acre classes! Here is what was running through my head the first week back:

1. This looks fun!

2. I am going to be so fit

3. I’m glad we’re warming up, because it’s -2 outside.

4. I love that girl’s yoga pants.

5. Can anyone tell I have underwear lines?

6. Everyone else has 15-pound weights and mine are 7.5-pounds. Okay.

7. I am not coordinated enough to move like this.

8. Oh shoot, I farted. I hope the girl behind me doesn’t have a sense of smell.

9. I hope pushups get easier with time.

10.  If I give myself an intense look in the mirror I work out harder.

11.  Am I supposed to burn like this? Is this normal? Does everyone feel this way?

12.  This is going to hurt tomorrow

13.  …but I kind of like it

14.  The instructor said we should keep drinking – does that mean we all hit Happy Hour after this?

15.  The instructor is so peppy! How? Show me your ways…

16.  I am so sweaty right now. Ew.

17.  I feel weak, but I feel like I should feel strong.

18.  I’ll just be mentally strong.

19.  Does everyone else feel a little ridiculous doing this exercise?

20.  Oh! Cool down time!

21.  We’re done! Wow, that hour went by fast.

22.  Well… I feel a little wobbly.

23.  But I like it!

24.  I’m definitely coming back next week.
