“If you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good, you play good” — Deion Sanders (NFL star and coach)

It’s that time of the year again—the holiday season. Soon after, it will be time to make New Year’s resolutions, which means getting back into the routines. If you’re planning on incorporating the gym into your New Year’s goals, you need to start with some new gym clothes. With Black Friday coming up, there are many deals with my favorite gym brands like Gymshark and Alphalete. Gymshark started its sale early this year on Thursday, November 17th at 11 AM EST, and sales are up to 60% off! Alphalete started its Black Friday sales on Saturday, November 19th at 1 PM EST. This is a great time to snatch the cute gym fits you’ve been eyeing. Personally, getting cute, new gym clothes is my motivation to go to the gym.

Here is a list of my favorite gym items every girl needs:

  1. Gym clothes: My favorite pieces of gym clothes are
    1. Alphalete Amplify Leggings/Shorts.
      1. These leggings are minimalistic with small branding and the perfect scrunch for the booty. They come in multiple color options ranging from bright pink to neutrals. You can use the discount code ‘ALPHA10’ or any athletes code for 10% off your purchase.
    2. Gymshark Training Sports Bra
      1. My current favorite Gymshark training bra is the minimal sports bra. I like showing off my back, and you can remove the straps for a haltered look. They also have other options for girls with larger chests. Gymshark also has a student discount for an additional 10% off your entire purchase.
    3. NVGTN
      1. These leggings/shorts are known to hug your glutes and emphasize your curves in the right places. They advertise their leggings and shorts to be worn as if you have a wedgie.
    4. Amazon Dupes
      1. Some more affordable options of the Alphalete Amplify dupes from Aurola
      2. Another open-back sports bra from Aojox is the dupe for Crop Shop Boutique
  1. Shoes
    1. Converse & Nike Blazers: They’re stylish and versatile in and out of the gym. They have a flat sole – perfect for leg day.
    2. Notorious Lift: For those who are into powerlifting, you need these. However, you do not need to be a powerlifter to wear these. I love to squat and deadlift in them! These shoes feel like you are barefoot, and have thin soles with a no-slip grip.
  1. Lifting accessories
    1. UPPPER Gear: They have all the colorful lifting belts, lifting straps, wrist wraps, ankle straps, barbell pads, and resistance bands. Their Black Friday sale will start Tuesday, November 22 at 12 PM EST.
    2. Gymshark Gym Bag: With all your accessories and other necessities, you need a bag to carry all that. Gymshark has a variety of sizes and colors. My favorite is the Everyday Mini Backpack. I use it for the gym and also for travel. It holds the perfect amount for me, and you’d be surprised how much it can fit.
  2. Supplements
    1. PE Science: PE Science has my favorite protein and supplements. Each order also comes with free samples of other supplements. If you like pre-workout that result in fewer jitters, they have the prolific options or a caffeine-free pre-workout for that pump.
