I often find myself scrolling through the endless “for you page” on Tiktok. Videos of people dancing or showing their morning routines often show up, but the most common videos I get are hauls or trendy products that they say everyone must try. Since some would say I have a shopping addiction, I’m easily convinced to purchase and try out these products, and so I have compiled a list of the best products that TikTok made me buy.
- Ice Roller
One of my favorite TikTok purchases is the ice roller. I’ve always been a fan of jade rollers that you use when you do face masks, but I had never tried an ice roller. Similar in shape but much bigger in size, the ice roller has a detachable roller on top that you put in your freezer. Once the roller is frozen, it is best to use in the morning or after a warm shower to reduce inflammation and redness on your face. Another great benefit is that it can help with headaches if used properly. I purchased mine at a local Ulta, but there are many other stores you can purchase them from such as Target, Sephora, and Amazon. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with the ice roller, and I’d recommend you to add it to your skincare routine.
- Creaseless makeup clips
The first time I’d ever seen these creaseless makeup clips was when my sister was working at Ulta, and she had brought them home from work one day. They look similar to regular hair clips, but they were made to not leave a crease in your hair which makes them perfect for when you’re doing your makeup. They can also be used to wear everyday to keep your hair out of your face. I purchased mine from Ulta, but I’ve also seen them on Amazon and other similar stores.
- Hollywood Makeup Mirror
For years I had been using a small, round, light up, makeup mirror from Costco. While it was beneficial the mirror lit up, it was way too small to be able to use it for doing my hair and makeup. The beauty Youtubers I’ve been watching for years have always used the giant Hollywood mirror, but after I looked it up online, it was way out of my price range. The mini, more affordable version that came up on my TikTok was soon on my Christmas list last December. I can confirm that this mirror is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it is also perfect for doing both your hair and makeup. The one that I received for Christmas last year was purchased on Amazon, but I’m sure you could find them at similar stores online.
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil
I’ve never been a big fan of eyeshadow, so for a while, I had been looking for a product that would spice up my eye makeup look that wasn’t the traditional eyeshadow. I was pleased to see the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the white shade on my TikTok so many times. This pencil can be used in the corner of your eye to make your eyes pop and add a little more dimension to your eye look. Everytime I went to Target, I would look for this pencil, but it was always sold out at my local Target up until a couple weeks ago. As soon as it was in stock, I bought one, and I can confirm that it is worth the purchase.
