As temperatures continue to drop and snow piles onto cars it can be easy to dread this upcoming winter season. If outdoor activities are the last thing on your radar, you have come to the right place. Keep reading to find out some of my favorite cozy, indoor activities that make me cheerful for the winter season!

Hot Chocolate Bombs

Hot chocolate bombs turn a classic winter drink into a crafty night. Similar to bath bombs, hot chocolate bombs explode their hot chocolate powder when placed in a cup of hot milk. To make hot chocolate bombs, all you need is a silicone tray, hot chocolate powder, chocolate of your choice, and if you feeling creative you can add sprinkles and marshmallows. This is a perfect activity to do by yourself or with family and friends.

Gingerbread House Competition

During the holidays, my favorite activity is making a gingerbread house while rewatching holiday classics. This year, you can try having a gingerbread house competition! This will add some friendly competition to a night in followed by indulging in gingerbread cookies.

Peppermint Bark

Why buy peppermint bark when you can make your own and package it for your family and friends? Peppermint bark requires no former baking skills and can be ready to enjoy within the hour! Peppermint bark is also a great present as you can make a lot of peppermint bark at once and customize it to your liking. Check out the link below for a quick recipe to make peppermint bark.

These are just a couple of my favorite winter activities that you can do with loved ones while staying warm. I hope you get a chance to try them out and like them as much as I do.

Hi all! I hoped you enjoyed the article. My major is human biology as I hope to become an OBGYN in the future. When I am not at work or busy with school I like to spend my time watching Netflix and going to the same three stores in my hometown:).
