If you find yourself struggling to have a positive mindset throughout your day, it’s time for you to incorporate positive affirmations into your morning routine. Affirmations are positive, specific statements that help you overcome negative thoughts. At first, you may not fully believe the words you are telling yourself, but the more consistently that you practice affirmations, the more you begin to believe. That belief can produce confidence, which inspires you to take action and change your life for the better. 

There several different ways you can incorporate affirmations into your life. You can write them down in a journal, repeat them out loud to yourself, or even display them around your home or office so they’re visible to you throughout the day.   

Tips to help maximize the benefits of affirmations: 

  1. Your affirmations should be in the present tense as if they’re already happening. 

  2. Consistency is key! The more you practice affirmations, the more powerful they become.

  3. Choose affirmations that resonate with you. 

  4. Be as specific as possible.
