How To Stay Calm During The Run Up To Easter

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lancaster chapter.

I’m finding it hard to believe that in a couple of weeks time, second term of uni will be over. Although it feels like Christmas break was a lifetime away, I don’t feel ready for it to be exam season at all.

Here are a few ways to keep yourself going!

1. Don’t forget to prioritise your work.

There’s no point procrastinating by doing your reading that’s needed until next week when your essay deadline is tomorrow, and you haven’t even started. There’s no time like the present.

2. Spend time with friends.

If you’re feeling stressed, it’s likely your housemates and course friends will be too. With exams looming and when deadlines never ending, sometimes it’s nice to take a couple of hours to talk it out with people who understand.

3. Give yourself something to look forward to.

Whether it’s going out for tea or indulging in some retail therapy, having something which won’t bog you down is always a bonus.

4. Get some fresh air.

We’ve all had a sense of cabin fever at some point. Feeling like you’ve hit a brick wall in your work? Go outside and come back to it and you’d be surprised by the difference it will make to your productivity.
