Just like that, we are almost two weeks into the new year, and time has flown by ever so swiftly. Have you found yourself often dwelling on thoughts of if your goals will be met this year or if your drive and motivation will burn out soon? I have to say that, personally, yes, I have. I wonder if I will pull through for myself and not find myself starting over once again.

Personal goals and motivation were brought in with positive mindsets as we closed 2019 and opened in 2020, but it is, unfortunately, human nature to have self-doubt. The Law of Attraction is so set on letting go of any doubt, worry, and fear to manifest our reality, but it is hard to let go of the thoughts that impede you peacefully. This year, we have to focus on our goals, plant whatever seeds we want to come to fruition, and fake whatever positive and optimistic mindsets surrounding the goals are until they become real. Committing to your goals is scary. If you are anything like me, you constantly overthink and let fear dampen your power to believe in yourself. A major shift happens when I realize, again, that I am already whole. I am in control, and I am the manifester of what is already mine to be claimed. Nothing can stop me; therefore, nothing can stop you.

So many of us fail to keep in mind that no one is perfect. That multi-million dollar franchise owner probably didn’t make it to her gym session this morning either, just like you, but you both still have tomorrow to try your best again. Tomorrow is never promised, but what is guaranteed is that when you are genuinely committed to your goals, you will try your best in all that you do every day. You will get tired, there will be down days and there will be days that you are on top of the world. As long as you get yourself up when you slack and keep your wellbeing in mind, the goals will be met in due time and you will reach your idea of success. In the words of Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, “knock me down nine times, but I get up ten.” So, yes, negative thoughts probably did follow you into 2020, but your ambition, dedication, and positive mindset came right along with it too. In doing what’s best for yourself and your financial and mental wellbeing, the first step may be to shift your mindset to turn the “I want to” or “I’m trying to” into “I will” statements. Worry and uncertainty are only figurative obstacles; you must use your power to overcome them and learn to plant your seeds, even if the weather is terrible.
