For those who are not familiar with the company Intern Queen, it is a service that places students with internships and other opportunities throughout the United States. It is run by Lauren Berger who is the Intern Queen and the face of the company she started in 2009.
About Lauren Berger:
Her first job after graduation was at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Los Angeles. Berfer attended school in Florida and moved to LA before she even had a job. She is a wonderful example of relocating after college and nailing your goal job. When she got there, she awoke every morning as if she had a job and applied to jobs all day until she got a job. She reached out to all of her contacts that she had from her various internships, met up for coffee with potential contacts, and networked a lot.

One of the best things about Intern Queen is the YouTube videos that she makes on a variety of topics relating to resumes, cover letters, Skype interviews, budgeting for city internships,personal branding, and much, much more. There is a new video every week and are a must watch for the budding powerhouse woman who is looking for a great opportunity while in or after college. Since Berger is an entrepreneur, she also posts videos on running your own business and even dressing for certain internships. There are also fun videos that relate to what’s in her work bag, volunteering, how to survive college, how to be confident, and New Year’s resolutions. I love to watch her videos while I do homework and they are very exciting so check them out!

On the Instagram page for Intern Queen through Instagram stories, Berger posts about her life and the speaking engagements tshe does at schools. She even spoke recently at the national PRSSA conference which is very exciting if you are going to school for public relations or just love Intern Queen. She also responds back to you on social media which is amazing for a CEO to do.

There is a program that has campus ambassadors for the brand who post articles and social media posts about opportunities with the company and the books that berger has written. There are two books which include Welcome to the Real World and All Work, No Pay. Welcome to the Real World foucses on topics that relate to life after college and All Work, No Pay is everything dealing with being in college for your career goals. Their posts are connected with the hashtag of #IQonCampus. This is an excellent opportunity to have on your resume especially if you want to work in public relations, marketing, communications, or another related major.
Lauren Berger inspires me to have huge dreams and shoot for the moon so I will land among the stars. Even if I never end up being a CEO of my own or another company, I know that I will be successful in whatever I do because I have an unstoppable drive.
