I have been dealing with anxiety for a while now. One of the most frustrating things to me is when restless thoughts have robbed me of sleep. I hate nights where I am stuck over thinking, tossing and turning. Then the next day, I am exhusted.

When I started hearing about weighted anxiety blankets, I was instantly intrigued! Already I am a very tactile person and love to feel safe and snuggled up when I sleep. Before I always went for big, fluffy comforters that I could burrow in. But my new weighted blanket is way better! This magical blanket just takes that feeling to the next level. They are a little pricey, so I put off getting one for a while, but I am here to tell you it is worth the splurge!

When you are picking out your blanket, you pick the size and weight of the blanket off your weight. This way you actually feel the right amount of pressure and you know it’s not going to crush you. Plus, the weight it distrusted evenly throughout the blanket so it is equal all over your body. It is also not too heavy, so you can still move easily under it.

Plus, it is super warm! When I started using my weighted blanket, I tossed my big comforter to the side. This thing is still great to snuggle up in and keeps you warm all night. Mine also has an extremely soft under side. (see below) The top is a cooler material too so if you get to hot, just flip it over.

Getting to sleep easier is the reason I bought the blanket, but the bonus I discovered after using the blanket was how relaxed my body felt when I woke up. The weight helps keep your muscles relaxed so you wake up feeling totally refreshed and weightless. It also keeps me from tossing and turning too much, so I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. It makes me excited to wake up in the morning!!

If you are looking for to purchase a one of these INCREDIBLE blankets you can look for them on Amazon to find exactly which kind you want. This is where I got mine and I will never go back to another blanket again!
