Workout Ideas to Keep You in Tiptop Shape During Quarantine

Let’s be honest, quarantine sucks. I don’t know about you, but it feels like the days are blending into each other and time is slowing down. With gyms being closed due to the stay-at-home order, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own workout regimine. If you are having a hard time finding exercises to do while quarantining or need some guidance, here are some of the workouts I do to help keep myself in shape during covid-19!

 

Workout #1 – Upper Body 

Repeat each excercise 3-5 times: 

1) 50 Jumping jacks

    25 High knees

    Run (down the street and back)

2)  25 Bicep curls 

     20 Straight arm lifts 

     20 Upright rows

     20 Push-ups 

Workout #2 – Leg / Booty 

Repeat 2-4 times:

1) 15 Dumbbell squats 

    15 Dumbell swings

    10 Jump squats 

    10  Donkey kicks (each leg)

    10  Fire hydrants (each leg)

    10  Elevated raises 

    

Workout #3 – Abs

Repeat 3-5 times: 

1)  25 Sit-ups (legs down)

     30 Second plank

     25 Plank twists 

     20 Heel touches 

     20 Russian twists 

     20  Flutter kicks 

     10  Dead bugs 

Workout #4 – Total Body 

Repeat 3-5 times:

1)  Cardio:

     50 Jumping jacks or jump rope for 1 min

     50 High knees

     20 Burpees 

     20 Tricep dips 

     10 Push-ups 

2)  Legs:

     10 Dumbell swings or deadlifts 

     10 Sumo squats with weights

     10 Alternating lunges 

3)   Abs: 

     20 Mountain climbers

     20 Bike crunches 

     20 Plank knee to elbow

     20 Plank ups
