With the end-of-semester stress winding down and finals underway, you may be feeling the pressure to stay afloat during the busiest part of the year. You may realize you did well (or maybe not so well) this semester and may be reflecting on how everything may have gone for you this year. However, amongst the big “important” things such as taking finals and going to work, we tend to get lost and forget about the little things that we learned during the semester, and what we made it through! I’ve compiled a short list of things you may have survived this semester, and you should be proud of more of them than you think! So, here we go:

1. You finally moved out of your house, or started to be treated as an adult. (Yay!)

2. You learned how to get dressed for an 8am class in under 15 minutes.

3. You actually went to your 8am class.

4. You learned how to BS emails to your prof. to get out of your 8am class.

5. You now have a regular order at Starbucks, and the baristas know you.

6. You learned how to get Starbucks stains out of your shirt.

7. You survived living with roommates, aka once complete strangers.

8. You bought your own toilet paper.

9. You learned how to properly use cleaning products.

10. You cooked on your own a few times.

11. You went grocery shopping BY YOURSELF.

12. You didn’t buy 10 bags of Hot Cheetos while grocery shopping BY YOURSELF.

13. You settled with three.

They’re still just as tempting, though.

14. You discovered a killer hangover cure that works wonders for you.

15. You took all your exams!

16. You wrote all your final papers!

17. You learned how to ACTUALLY study.

18. You got a job and somehow balanced work and school like a pro!

19. You pulled through, and finished out a semester strong! And if things didn’t go as planned, you learned how to fix your mistakes for the future.

20. You probably connected with a few professors that made learning interesting and worth it for you.

21. You met some amazing friends that will likely stick around for a few years.

And finally, and most importantly:

22. You learned more about yourself, and are starting to get closer to becoming the person you aspire to be.

Happy Summer, and congrats on surviving another semester at school!
