Hello collegiettes! As we throw countless products on our faces that clog our pores it’s imperative that we remember to take care of our skin in the best way we can. A fun way to do this is to use at home ingredients to do DIY face masks. Here are some face and body mask recipes for you to try:

Moisturizing Orange and Oat Mask:

1/2 Cup of Oats, Preferably steel cut oats

Juice from 1 Orange

3 tablespoons of Greek Yogurt

2 tablespoons of Honey

Directions:

Stir these ingredients until the mixture is thick enough to stay on your face well but not too much to where it is too runny. This mask will leave your skin feeling soft, moisturized, and glowing. Leave on for 15-30 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

Honey and Spice Mask:

2 tablespoons of Honey

1 teaspoon of Cinammon

1 teaspoon of Nutmeg

Directions:

Stir until mixture is thick and rub on the face in exfoliating circles. Let sit for 30 minutes and rinse off with warm water. This mask will leave your skin feeling extremely soft and you will smell good too!

Coffee and Coconut Oil Body Scrub:

1 cup of used or unused Coffee Grounds

1/2 cup of Coconut Oil, melted and then cooled

1/4 cup of Sugar

Directions:

This recipe will give you enough to save in an air tight container. Stir until the mix becomes like a paste and apply to parts of the body where you may have some cellulite. This mix will firm up the skin almost instantly and you will smell good too. Use this before getting in the shower and scrub it off.
