As we celebrate International Women’s Day today, it is the perfect time to reflect on the achievements of women globally and their contribution to promoting empowerment and inspiring positive change in communities worldwide. Here is a list of my women role models and the characteristics I admire most about them:

  1. Rihanna: Mindset Mastery

Rihanna has raised this generation of college girls. As a singer, a fashion designer, and a beauty mogul, she has proven that you can do it all! Her confidence and belief in her skills serve as an inspiration to women around the world!

  1. Emma Grede: Entrepreneurial Skills and Motivation

Emma Grede is the powerhouse behind Good American and Skims. Her motivation to always create better circumstances for herself led to her launching several successful businesses! She is a great example of someone who accumulated skills from different job experiences and utilized them to create her business empire.

  1. Emina Cunmulaj Nazarian: Giving Back to Your Community

Emina Cunmulaj Nazarian did not have a fancy childhood. Her career in modeling started as an escape from the fate that had been decided for her. In the past, she has collaborated with established designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, Giorgio Armani, and many more, but now she is focused on contributing to her community. Emina helps disadvantaged families in the Balkans by learning about their difficult living circumstances and supporting them financially.

Let us draw inspiration from our role models’ resilience, determination, and compassion. Together we must continue to promote empowerment and inspire positive change. Happy International Women’s Day!
