If you’re looking to switch up your workout routine, Divine Barre is a great studio to check out and try something new. I tried a class at the studio at the end of my first day of classes, and it was a lot of fun. Located on Gano Street, Divine Barre has a small space that allows for exercise classes with just a few others.

The class I went to was called “Cardio Core Fusion.” It was 45 minutes long and focused on burning and sculpting. This was a non-barre class, which I enjoyed since I have no experience with barre. During the cardio portion, the goal is to constantly be moving. It was pretty challenging and definitely had everyone in the class breathing heavily. The core part of the class was especially tough and left my abs sore the next day. Overall, it was a solid workout.

The studio offers different barre and non-barre classes that vary in length from 45 minutes, 60 minutes, and 75 minutes. Every class ends with a short meditation and lavender cool-down, which is a really relaxing and peaceful way to end the workout. Check out the Divine Barre website to read about the different types of classes and training they offer.

Also, Divine Barre has a special offer for students to buy 8 classes for $80 if you show a student ID! I registered for my class through Class Pass, which is a great option if you want to try new fitness classes and see what you like best. My class at Divine Barre was physically challenging and left me feeling refreshed mentally. I would definitely recommend trying the studio!
