We decided to get a little spicy in the kitchen and make tacos for dinner! This is a simple meal and a delicious one.

Ingredients:

  • Lettuce

  • Tomatoes

  • Taco Kit (We used Old El Paso)

    • Includes 6 hard taco shells, 6 flour tortillas

    • Mild Taco Sauce

    • Seasoning mix

  • 4 grilled chicken tenderloins

  • Salsa

  • Shredded Cheese

  • Rice mix

  • Water

Directions:

1. We first made rice because water in Orso takes forever to boil. Empty the rice box into the boiling water. Set aside.

2. Next, chop up the tomatoes and lettuce. Set aside. You can also get some shredded cheese and salsa! We bought our salsa, but if you’re feeling adventurous try making your own.

3. Open up the taco kit to get ready to cook your chicken.

4. Cut up the chicken into bite-size chunks. Heat up a pan and cook the chicken. Now add the seasoning mix with ⅔ cup of water. Feel free to substitute the meat for veggies if you are a vegetarian or even other meats if you prefer them over chicken. Now it is time to assemble the tacos!

5. Pick your choice of soft or hard tacos and put whatever you wish in it. If you want it to be a little bit more spicy, don’t forget to add the extra taco seasoning from the taco kit to add a kick of flavor. You can set it up buffet style like we did below!

The final product :)
