These Summery Starbucks Secret Menu Drinks Are TikTok-Approved

I don’t know about you, but I’m in my sweet treat era. There’s nothing like a little drink or treat to commemorate your hard day (even if it was just laying in bed all day). With summer in full swing, it’s time to elevate your sweet treat game.

From refreshers to frappuccinos, Starbucks has always been the it-girl when you need a caffeine pick-me-up in the summer heat. This summer, we’re taking Starbucks drinks to the next level. Starbucks’ secret menu, aka customizations and creative drinks created by Starbucks lovers, is here to save your summer and your obsession with treating yourself to overpriced concoctions. From pops of fruit to eye-catching color palettes, here are 15 secret menu summer Starbucks drinks to try in summer 2023. P.S. They’re all TikTok-approved.

Tropical Sunrise

From catching sunrises to watching sunsets, summer is the season to enjoy life’s natural gifts. Thankfully, there’s a Starbucks secret menu drink that encapsulates this: the Tropical Sunrise. All you need to order for this summer in a cup is a blended pineapple lemonade refresher, and ask for strawberry puree on the bottom of the cup.

Skittles Frappuccino

If candies belonged to seasons, Skittles would be summer. They’re sweet, sour, bright, and fun, so what’s better than a Skittles Frappuccino to sip on during the hot summer days? When ordering, ask for a Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino with no classic syrup, and add vanilla syrup (two pumps for a tall, three pumps for a grande, four pumps for venti) and raspberry syrup (half a pump for a tall, one pump for a grande, one and a half pumps for venti).

A chai tea latte might be the epitome of fall, but it’s hard to let go of the tasty, aromatic drink when the hot seasons roll around — so don’t. The Strawberry Shortcake Chai is the perfect version of a chai latte that’s fit for warmer months. Ask for an iced chai tea latte with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. In the cold foam, ask for a scoop of strawberry puree, then top it off with caramel drizzle.

Raspberry Caramel Macchiato

If you haven’t caught on by now, your caffeine of choice mixed with fruit is the vibe for this summer. The Raspberry Caramel Macchiato is a summery twist on the classic drink that is sure to keep you running for your busy summer days. This one is very simple to order. Ask for a caramel macchiato and opt for raspberry syrup instead of vanilla. However, you need to act fast because raspberry syrup is being discontinued and may already be gone in some stores.

Orange Creamsicle Frappuccino

Two desserts come to mind when the summer season rolls around: Rocket Bomb Pops and orange creamsicles. The Orange Creamsicle Frappuccino is like nostalgia in a cup. You can reminisce on your childhood summer days while you sip on this refreshing frappe. Hold tight because this order gets a little complicated. When ordering at Starbucks or on the app, ask for orange-mango juice to the first line, add milk to the second line, use a cream base, add classic syrup, add ice, and blend. Of course, top it off with whipped cream.

Watermelon Frappuccino

There’s nothing like a hot summer day at the beach with fruit to snack on. Mix this vibe while quenching your thirst with the secret menu Watermelon Frappuccino. This drink is simple and incredibly easy to order. Ask for a half matcha, half dragon fruit frappuccino.

You found the sunrise drink, but now it’s time to end your nights with the Sunset Refresher. Order a pineapple passionfruit refresher topped with a mango dragonfruit refresher, with six pumps of raspberry syrup (if you’re ordering a venti).

Strawberry Matcha

Pink and green are one of the cutest color combos for the summer, so it’s only right to find a drink to match the aesthetic, aka a Strawberry Matcha. The secret menu Strawberry Matcha is for summer days spent outside, drives with windows down, and tanning under the sun. All you have to order is a Pink Drink with matcha and sweet cream cold foam.

Summer Punch Candy

The Summer Punch Candy secret menu drink is the perfect combo of summery fruits in a drink to treat yourself to. All you need to ask for is a strawberry lemonade with raspberry and peach.

Dole Whip

My Disney lovers, this drink is for you. There is nothing like a pineapple dole whip to end your hot summer day at a Disney park. So, to encapsulate the beloved feeling, I bring to you the Dole Whip Starbucks secret menu drink. The best part is, it’s super simple to order. Ask for a paradise drink with sweet cream — voila!

White Chocolate Pink Drink

The secret menu has come full circle. The Pink Drink is the quintessential secret menu drink that landed itself as a full-time menu item. For summer 2023, we are going back to our roots with an elevated version of the Pink Drink. The White Chocolate Pink Drink is the sweet treat you deserve at the end of a fun day with friends. For this variation, just ask for three pumps of white chocolate and vanilla added to the OG Pink Drink.

Lavender Haze

Summer 2023 is T-Swift summer, as the Eras Tour makes its way around the world. Whether you’re in your Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) era or are still on a Midnights kick, the Lavender Haze drink encapsulates both vibes with its name and beautiful purple color. To get this dreamy drink, all you need to order is an iced passion tea with soy milk. Add pumps of vanilla for added sweetness.

Honey Peach Freeze

Frozen drinks are the key to beating the summer heat, so have some fun and experiment with them at Starbucks. The Honey Peach Freeze is the perfect drink accessory for a picnic at the park or a hot girl walk outside. To order, ask for a blended lemonade with peach juice. Then ask your barista for one pump of honey blend sweetener, and to drizzle some agave to the sides of your cup. Finally, ask to top it off with vanilla sweet cream.

Raspberry/Strawberry Cold Brew

If you’re a coffee lover through and through, these drinks might seem like overkill. Luckily, you can still add a summer pop to your typical cold brew. All you have to do is get your cold brew of choice and add pumps of raspberry and white mocha. Top with sweet cream cold foam with strawberry puree blended in.

Pink-a-Colada

Mentally, I’m on a beach sipping a Piña Colada, but for now, a Pink-a-Colada from Starbucks will do. This secret menu drink fills the hole of the vacation you’re craving. For the instant vacay, ask for a Pink Drink with no inclusions, then add pumps of pineapple ginger syrup. Top it off with vanilla sweet cream cold foam blended with pineapple ginger syrup and strawberry puree.
