Yes, There’s Already Another Trendy Water Bottle: The Owala

I’ve seen many new trends spark in the first month of 2024, including the viral ins and outs TikTok trend. However, there is still one trend that is still  “in” from 2023: Stanley Cups. With Target’s Valentine’s Day Stanley Cups selling out prior to the beginning of the new year, it’s safe to say that Stanley Cups will still be a main character in 2024. However, similar to books, there needs to be a change in plot to keep people engaged and I believe Owala, a drinkware brand that offers a similar style to Stanley, can rise to the occasion.

With some over the Stanley Cup trend thanks to its steep price and some customers experiencing leakage, social media users have looked into similar alternatives, including Owala. Known for being lightweight and offering a leak-proof lid, Owala allows you to practice sustainability effortlessly as you can bring them to work. the gym, and when you travel without adding more weight to your plate. All in all, I vote for a change of scenery and I hope with some persuading, you do too. Here are some Owala cups you should look into.

Tumbler ($28-$38)

Considered to be a pretty good dupe for the Stanley Cup, this tumbler comes in six different colors and has a two-in-one lid. Additionally, this cup offers double-wall installation, keeping your drinks cold for a longer period of time, not to mention it’s right and left hand friendly. Lastly, you can choose between 24-ounce and 40-ounce sizes.

SmoothSip ($25)

This one is for the caffeine addicts out there. Coming in four different colors, one being the adorable Watermelon Breeze, the SmoothSip Coffee Tumbler has cool features like 24-hour insulation for cold drinks and six-hour insulation for hot drinks. All in all, this is a perfect cup to take with you when you want to go on a coffee run while practicing sustainability.

FreeSip: Marvel ($35)

Channel your inner Captain Marvel by purchasing a FreeSip: Marvel bottle. Offering a versatile straw and triple-layer insulation, the Avengers have you covered with a leak-proof, push button lid.

Flip ($15)

Seeking a bottle that makes sipping seamless? Owala has you covered. The Flip is the definition of flexibility. From its straw being easily able to flip open and closed with one hand, to offering a carry loop for easier transportation, this cup — no matter how many flips it undergoes — will remain shut.

FreeSip ($25-$38)

Similar to how water flows freely, you should be able to consume water flexibly. The FreeSip Stainless Steel Cup allows you to either drink through its built-in straw or wide mouth opening.  Lastly, this cup comes in many colors, including Blue Oasis, and can be purchased in five sizes ranging from 19 to 40 ounces.
