Starbucks’ Winter Pink Stanley Cups Had People Lining Up Outside Overnight

The excitement for Stanley Cups is taking over social media once again. Stanley Cup stans raced to Starbucks on Jan. 3 in an early bird adventure to get the new exclusive Winter Pink Starbucks x Stanley Cup. The cup is a limited-edition winter shade from Starbucks and Stanley — it’s a 40-ounce Quencher Tumbler selling for $45. The cups are being sold in Starbucks that are exclusively located inside of Target stores. The cups launched on Jan. 3, 2024, and fans were ready for the launch day as they raced to Target Starbucks stores to wait in line for hours to get their hands on one before they sold out.

The exclusive Winter Pink Stanley cups come after an exclusive launch that Stanley did with Target at the end of the year. On Dec. 31, 2023, Target launched pink and red Stanley Cups for the 2024 Valentine’s Day season. Those Stanley Cups sold out fast, with customers already wondering whether the Target Valentine’s Day Stanley Cups will be restocked. (While there’s no word yet on an official restock, sites like eBay and Mercari have the cups listed for hundreds of dollars.) As for the Winter Pink Stanley Cups, eBay has them on the market as well, with prices that are over $100. With these Winter Pink cups only being sold in Target Starbuck stores, they are not available on sites such as Amazon or Stanley’s official website, making them that much harder to find.

Customers formed lines early on the launch morning, even before Target opened their doors. Besides the Winter Pink color, the cup also has “Starbucks x Stanley” engraved on its side, with facts about the cup engraved in the middle. To add some winter charm, the cup has a coating of shimmer and sparkle, giving it a winter glow. People are blowing up TikTok with videos of the lines of people waiting for Target to open, showing just how much determination there was for this Stanley Cup hunt.

Some Target Starbucks stores have provided some intel to customers on the Winter Pink Stanley Cups. The cups are limited, with stores having as few as 16 in stock. A TikTok by izzi.faas explains that someone cannot buy multiple cups, with only one cup allowed per customer, and that reserving cups for customers most likely cannot be done.

Will Starbucks’ Winter Pink Stanley Cup Be Restocked?

With most locations likely selling out of their Winter Pink cups, you may be wondering whether they’ll be restocked. While there’s no official news on whether the cup will be back on shelves any time soon, this isn’t the first time Starbucks and Stanley have done collabs together on cups. If the Winter Pink cups are gone for good, there’s still a chance Starbucks and Stanley will do collabs with other cups in the future.
