Target’s Valentine’s Day Stanley Cups Are Sold Out, But Starbucks’ Version Is On The Way

It truly was love at first sip for the lucky people who got their hands on one of Target’s Valentine’s Day Stanley Cups when they dropped just before the new year on Dec. 31, 2023. Reusable water bottles have always been the hydration hype, and Stanley Cups — double-wall, vacuum-insulated water bottles complete with a user-friendly grip handle and dishwasher-safe design — have quickly become everybody’s favorite. With a diverse range of colors and styles to choose from, this Valentine’s Day Stanley Cup is the perfect Galentine’s gift for any of your besties. That is — it was the perfect gift, since it sold out quickly after hitting shelves.

The 40-ounce stainless steel H2.0 Tumbler was available in two Valentine’s Day-inspired color options: the iconic Target Red and a barbie-like Cosmo Pink. The logos featured tiny hearts and came with red and pink stoppers and the classic clear, reusable straw. The exclusive collection also featured a two-pack of red and pink tumblers and stacking pints along with the H2.0 Tumbler.

Will Target’s Valentine’s Day Stanley Cups Be Restocked?

While the Stanley x Target Valentine’s Day collab might have been a great gift choice, they sold out so fast, and Stanley Cup lovers are absolutely losing it. Shoppers were left Stanley-less in just minutes. Even though Stanley or Target have yet to confirm whether or not these quenchers will make a return to shelves, some shoppers on Reddit believe Target will restock the Valentine’s Day Stanley Cups closer to the holiday. In the meantime, devoted fans are scouring online marketplaces, desperate to get their hands on any remnants of the limited-edition collection. Secondary sites like eBay and Mercari are already reselling these cups for hundreds of dollars.

With how successful this release was, some are saying that this Target Stanley Cup lore is almost like the iconic Red Cup Day at Starbucks. And apparently on Jan. 3, there’s going to be another holiday cup collection coming out. If you are lucky, some Target Starbucks locations are getting exclusive Stanley x Starbucks Winter Pink cups. Priced at $50, the 40-ounce sparkly pink glitter tumblers that come with a hot pink stopper, handle, clear pink lid, and reusable straw are truly a collector’s dream.

Don’t let the opportunity slip through your fingers if you weren’t able to grab the first Target Stanley Cup Valentine’s Day release. It’s not just a cup — it’s now a symbol of the holiday season. So mark your calendars and set your alarms because you don’t want to miss the chance to make these exclusive tumblers a part of your collection.
