12 Stanley Cup Alternatives That Are Great To Carry Around Campus

Alright besties, it’s almost 2024, and for me to ensure I make this year filled with self-love and the best version of myself, I need to be staying hydrated. So many of us college students are not drinking enough water while balancing classes, jobs, and internships, all while being our fabulous selves. The problem with not drinking enough water while having a hectic schedule is not having a water bottle to accommodate you. And what product has gone viral in actually achieving that this year? The infamous Stanley Cup.

Stanley Cups have been all the rage this year. The only setback with Stanley Cups is the price — the 30-ounce Stanley Cups retail from $35 to $45, and the 40-ounce cups run from $45 to $57. I know many of you would love to be carrying a Stanley around all day, but are also on a budget and cannot allow yourself to drop $50 on a cup. Well don’t worry, besties, –because I have a whole list of Stanley Cup alternatives for you to look through, ranging in price, color, and added accessories, so you can be a hydrated queen all year long. Here are the best alternatives to a Stanley to grab before the new year.

Ozark Trail 40-Ounce Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Tumbler ($15)

I was absolutely stunned to see an exact Stanley Cup dupe from Walmart that can hold 40 ounces of your favorite beverage for a fraction of the price. The tumbler even comes in gorgeous pastel and ombre colors that you won’t be able to resist.

Embark 40-Ounce Stainless Steel Straw Tumbler ($15)

It’s not a surprise that everyone’s favorite place to run errands would have the perfect alternative to a Stanley Cup for only $15. Target sells these sleek and neutral tumblers for the clean girlies who are in dire need of a water bottle upgrade.

Quencher Adventure 40-Ounce Modern Tumbler ($18)

This tumbler from Quencher Adventure has the exact lid and straw accessories as a Stanley, but comes in way more colors to choose from. Also, extra points for this one — it comes with a free silicone bumper to protect your cup.

TLINNA 40-Ounce Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Tumbler ($17)

I am obsessed with this Stanley Cup alternative from Amazon that has 31 color swatches to choose from. It even has a grip shape on the handle to make it more comfortable to hold. BRB while I buy one in Rose Quartz.

Simple Modern 40-Ounce Tumbler ($30)

I have my own Simple Modern tumbler I’ve had for years now, and they are so worth the money. I may have dropped mine a few times, but that has somehow never left a dent in my cup. I also adore these tumblers for their monochrome color swatches that make me feel like I’ve got my life together.

Corkcicle Cold Cup XL ($45)

I have read such great reviews about Corkcicle cups, and think they’re an excellent alternative to a Stanley. They are sleeker and not as bulky to carry around, and they also have a spill-proof lid.

Hydro flask 40-Ounce All Around Travel Tumbler ($40)

As a Hydro Flask girlie, I had to put this tumbler on the list. Hydro Flask has this tumbler that’s similar to a Stanley, which holds 40 ounces for a cheaper price. (The brand usually has sales consistently, too, like right now.) I also recommend this tumbler because the lid and flexible straw are spill-proof and easier to clean.

Brumate Era 40-Ounce Tumbler ($45)

Brumate is known for their insulated can coolers, but did you know they had tumblers, too? These tumblers are a little pricier, but still are cheaper than some of Stanley’s 40-ounce tumblers. They also come in so many colors and designs that it’ll be impossible for you to choose your favorite.

Owala 40-Ounce Stainless Steel Tumbler ($31)

Owala cups and tumblers from Target are super durable, and will keep your drinks cold or hot all day long. I love these tumblers because each color swatch also includes a pop of an accent color on the cup, making it even cuter to carry around with you on campus.

CamelBak Horizon 30-Ounce Straw Tumbler ($29)

CamelBak is a classic water bottle brand, so you can trust that its insulated tumblers are just as nice as any Stanley cup. I love how simple and classic these tumblers are, and I’m obsessed with the tumbler’s color range.

HydroJug 40-Ounce Traveler ($40)

HydroJug went viral for their stylish gallon jugs, but now have the most stunning tumblers. These tumblers have everything a Stanley has and more, especially with the flip straw that you won’t have to worry about losing.

Takeya 40-Ounce Straw Tumbler ($40)

Last, but not least, we have the Takeya tumbler. I adore this tumbler in the Vivacity Purple, and how pleasing its monochromatic design is to the eye. It also comes with a silicone protective bumper to prevent dents and allow for quiet set-downs.
