Kellan Boehret is a first year student at the University of Virginia, studying Cognitive Science with a possible double major in Studio Art. Aside from her academic courses, she is involved in V Magazine’s operations department as Events Director, and is a member of Student Council’s Marketing department. In her writing she loves to blend passions of journalism, psychology and various creative outlets, as she hopes to pursue a future career that combines all three!
In her free time she is a huge book lover- top three novels including Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch, Rainer Maria Rilke's Letters to a Young Poet, and of course Harry Potter. She’s also a Free People fanatic who loves any opportunity to dress up with friends, a Pinterest addict creating boards for the most miniscule things, and a pop music connoisseur- from Olivia Rodrigo to Slayyter, she loves curating a new Spotify playlist for any event (and is open to any and all music recommendations!).
After scrolling through dozens and dozens of Her Campus articles, she is excited to further create community and connection through exploring various topics from pop culture controversies to relatable student life experiences, during her first year with Her Campus and at the University of Virginia.
