Olivia Rodrigo’S Sold-out world tour

Olivia Rodrigo’s sold-out world tour, The Unraveled Tour, kicked off this weekend, September 25th, 2026, and fans are obsessed with everything from the looks to the setlist and stage. Like many other grieving fans who lost the gruesome Ticketmaster war, while I might not have gotten the coveted tickets, I still watched Rodrigo’s jaw-dropping performance through grainy live streams in the comfort of my bed. So here are my top 10 favorite moments from the opening night.

#10: Heart-Shaped Guitar

Rodrigo is known for her gut-wrenching ballads and hard-hitting punk hits, so it’s only fitting that our favorite pop rock princess had a fitting guitar to perform her latest hits off You Seem Pretty Sad for A Girl So in Love, and the pastel pink heart-shaped guitar was the perfect touch.

#9: A Girl Knows Her Shoes

Continuing her grunge style meshed with delicate feminine touches, Rodrigo’s footwear showed it all, from her iconic lace-up Doc Marten boots, which fans have seen on past tours, to pink Vans, and cut-out black boots; no detail was spared in putting together the perfect concert looks.

#8: Expectations Ends The Night

To close the night, Rodrigo had everyone shouting “I’ve got big expectations” with different groups in the crowd singing different parts, resulting in a mirage of voices chanting back to her. The high energy moment, as she ran across the stage, had everyone on their feet, jumping, and singing, my FOMO skyrocketed after watching this performance.

#7: Serena Joy

Serena Joy, Rodrigo’s most recent release, inspired by The Handmaid’s Tale, might not be a chart-topping song like most of her other singles; however, the prioritization of performing a song with a strong message over songs with much larger streaming numbers showcases Rodrigo’s desire to raise awareness about politics and social change.

#6: Simple yet effective fashion

The final look of the night may have been just a simple white tank top, with loose blue jeans, but its refreshing simplicity reminded everyone what a star Olivia Rodrigo is. She doesn’t need a bedazzled sequence bodysuit or an immaculate, detailed gown to captivate everyone’s attention; she merely needs to be authentically herself.

#5: Cigarette Smoke, Rock Rendition

Cigarette Smoke, arguably one of the saddest ballads on her most recent album, was performed alongside a black electric guitar, with heavy drums, as Rodrigo hit some of her highest notes of the night. This performance alone showcased Rodrigo’s emotional delivery and supreme vocal skills. (Anyone else get goosebumps?)

#4: Flower Field Stage

A stage covered in flowers of various shades of pink created a whimsical, ethereal aesthetic to the night, transporting everyone in the audience to beautiful fields within a huge industrial arena. Rodrigo began the night lying down hidden amongst the flowers, stomped and raged through the flowers in Good for You, and threw bouquets to fans throughout the show, adding an interactive element to the concert.

#3: Olivia’s Band

Rodrigo has always been an advocate for women’s rights and women’s empowerment, and her band is one example of that. Like her previous world tour, Guts, the Unraveled tour once again featured an entirely woman-led and non-binary band.

#2: Mini Stages

In addition to the main stage, the concert featured two smaller stages farther back in the pit, allowing Rodrigo to connect with the crowd and viewers at the back of the arena. It also offered a closer view for many and created a more intimate experience.

#1: The Cure

The song of the night that stole the show for many was Rodrigo’s performance of The Cure. Standing on a smaller stage all alone, she begins the song in a delicate white dress, which begins to melt away with the pouring rain as she enters the bridge of the song. As the dress falls apart, it reveals a red bodysuit underneath, and Rodrigo belts some of her most cathartic lines of the night, the moment going viral across platforms.

With all of these amazing features, what was your favorite part? And what costume changes, or set list alterations, can we expect from one of the biggest stars in the industry next?
