Isabella Martinez is a first-year student at Florida State University and a staff writer for Her Campus at FSU. She has loved writing for as long as she can remember and is passionate about using her voice to explore topics that are important to her and the people around her. Isabella is majoring in International Affairs at Florida State University, where she continues to explore her interests in politics, international issues, culture, and law. She also has professional experience in sales and marketing, where she developed skills in communication, customer relations, branding, and understanding different audiences. She enjoys incorporating these skills into her writing and thinking about what makes a topic interesting and meaningful to different readers. Isabella also speaks, reads, and writes in Spanish, which has allowed her to communicate with and learn from people with different backgrounds and perspectives.
Outside of writing and school, Isabella loves to travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures, listen to music, and stay up to date with the latest news, trends, and current events. She is Peruvian and spent much of her childhood in Peru, which gave her a strong appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. When she is not writing or keeping up with the world around her, she is usually taking a long walk around campus, at the gym, hanging out with friends, making crafts, or taking pictures with her digital camera.
