Digital cameras have been around for a long time, and I’m sure you’ve noticed their comeback. It started with me when my dad gave me his old one, and I instantly fell in love with taking pictures. At every party or gathering, someone has a digital camera to take pictures with. There’s a special vibe that these photos give off. It looks chic, the lighting feels warm, and it showcases your best memories.

I take my digital camera everywhere, and it just makes my Instagram look so effortless and cute. They have such a unique feel compared to regular pictures from your phone that may make the background look weird or mess up the lighting.

The feeling of being a digital camera friend is like no other. Being the one who downloads all the pictures and seeing how cute they came out is the best feeling. Everyone’s Instagram stories syncing up with the same pictures from the hangout or party that came from your camera is so refreshing. This is such a fun trend, and while you may think this costs a lot of money, there are ways to find one without spending so much.

Finding the Right Camera for You

For a while, I wanted a good digital camera that wasn’t 100 years old or cost over $1,000, but I didn’t know where to find one. I did a lot of research and came across the Kodak Pixpro FZ55. It costs about $140, which is super affordable compared to others like the Canon G7X.

My Kodak is so easy to use, and my pictures come out so good. It’s small and easy to fit in my purse, so I can bring it to every hangout I go to! Other options that you can find for cheaper online include the Canon ELPH 360 HS or the Kodak Pixpro FZ45. The easiest way to find affordable cameras, in my opinion, would be secondhand listings. Facebook Marketplace and Depop are ways to find good-quality digital cameras for a lower price.

Another accessory that makes owning a digital camera so much easier is an adapter. An adapter lets you transfer photos from your SD card to your phone and lets you download the pictures anywhere at any time!

In the car on the way home or right after you take the picture. I used to have to wait until I got home, connect my camera to my laptop, download the pictures, and email them to myself. Absolutely not. An adapter changed my life after I got my digital camera.

Cute Enough to Carry Everywhere

A digital camera can be just as much a part of your everyday purse essentials as lip gloss or mini perfumes. What I love about my digital camera is that I can put stickers on it and add cute charm keychains to it.

The keychain actually also helps me hold it and prevents it from falling while taking pictures! I love that digital cameras are compact so that you can bring them everywhere, so you’re ready to capture any moment.

The Little Moments Last the Longest

A digital camera helps capture moments with friends that you will look back on time and time again. Candids, cute poses, and moments that you want to last forever. Digital cameras help capture the feelings of a moment and help make pictures last so much longer.

Sometimes, these pictures don’t have to be posted on social media. The pictures can just stay in your camera roll for you to look back on and relive a fun memory.

Being at college and away from home, I always look back on pictures I took on my digital camera with my hometown friends and can picture myself in that memory again. A digital camera feels like more than just an accessory to me. It’s a way to capture moments and memories.
