Mariah is a student at James Madison University studying Political Science and pursuing a minor in Criminal Justice. As a Her Campus writer, Mariah strives to write articles that primarily focus on slice-of-life media. Through her work, she intends to share her personal experiences with readers and provide knowledge gained from past experiences.

In the past, she has worked as a writing tutor for students and has worked with special education classes under the program United Sound to teach music education and foster a positive environment.

Beyond Her Campus, Mariah is also a sister of Gamma Phi Beta serving in the Public Relations department working as the Internal Philanthropy Chairwoman.
