Hi, I'm Audrey Bengtson, a staff writer of Her Campus at the University of Maryland! I'm from central Connecticut, where I grew up always knowing I wanted to be a journalist! I came to UMD to follow my passion, to gain experience, and have fun! I'm currently a freshman at UMD, studying journalism. Currently, I'm starting to work as a reporter/anchor for Terrapin Sports Central as my focus in journalism is broadcasting. Some other things I participate in here at UMD are: Terrapin Sports Central, the UMD Sailing Club, and hopefully many other groups in the future! But, I'm thrilled to be writing for Her Campus!
