Hello! My name is Ananya Chauhan and I am a freshmen at George Mason University majoring in business in the Costello College of Business. My interests have been focused on combining business, creativity, and communications, leading me to participate in various activities through both high school and college. Currently, at Mason, I am a member of Mason Consulting Group, serving as an Associate Consultant, where I am gaining experience in consulting for a real-life company as a part of a team. Prior to coming to college, I have been a member of DECA, where I managed the social media and marketing of my high school’s girls flag football team.
As a contributor to Her Campus at George Mason University, my primary focus will be on writing on entertainment, health & wellness, college life and the experience of being a college student. As a Freshman and commuter student, I am still learning about college experience myself which is why I am so excited to be a part of HerCampus.
Outside of school, I like watching movies and TV shows, following current pop culture, hanging out with my family and friends, and exploring methods to add wellness to my lifestyle. Ever since I watched the movie "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," I have always wanted an opportunity to write on subjects that I feel passionate about just like Andie Anderson did. On Her Campus, I am looking forward to developing my voice as a writer and exploring the subjects that I enjoy.
